License holder responsibilities
Licensing & registrationLast verified Nov 1, 2026
Post your current license where it can be seen, keep your OMMA account details accurate, and let inspectors into the whole premises and your vehicles. Get OMMA's approval before a material change, such as a new address or new owners.
Why it matters
These are the first items on every OMMA inspection form. Operating under an unapproved ownership or address change is a violation even when everything else is in order.
Applies to Grower/Processor/Dispensary/Transporter/Lab
Connected rules
- Beneficial owner disclosure — OBN separately needs every beneficial owner disclosed.
- Schedule III and timely applicants — Your DEA status depends on this license staying active.
- Inspections, audits and correction notices — Refusing entry is a violation on its own.
