OMMA442:10-5-6(d)–(f)
Metrc reporting and daily reconciliation
Inventory & MetrcLast verified Nov 1, 2026
Report to the state tracking system (Metrc) in real time or after each sale, directly or through an integrated POS. Reconcile on-hand and in-transit inventory every day at close of business. Report planting, harvest, destruction, transfers, theft or loss, changes in form, full counts and lab samples.
Why it matters
Metrc is the record OMMA audits against. If your POS doesn't pass every required field through, you still have to enter it directly.
Applies to Grower/Processor/Dispensary/Transporter/Lab
Connected rules
- Initial and biennial inventory — DEA requires its own dated inventory, at the start and every two years.
- Monthly reports by the 15th — Complete Metrc data covers the monthly report.
- Loss and theft: 24-hour report — Losses must be recorded in Metrc too.
