Plant tags: the 12-inch rule

Tag the plant's container until it reaches 12 inches, then fasten the tag to a lower supporting branch until disposal. Clones must be in the system and linked to a wholesale package tag before 12 inches. Tag mother plants before taking cuttings, and replace lost or destroyed tags.
Why it matters
Untagged mothers and clones are among the most common grow findings.
