Annual OBN registration
Licensing & registrationLast verified Nov 1, 2026
You need an OBN Certificate of Registration before handling medical marijuana. Re-register no later than Nov 1 every year. OBN may allow a 30-day grace period before an expired registration goes inactive. Failing to register violates Oklahoma's Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act.
Why it matters
OMMA inspectors check for a valid OBN registration whenever product is on-site (442:10-1-5(c)), and OMMA has said licensees without it must stop operating and lose Metrc access. OMMA's past bulletins gave Oct 31 as the deadline, so file by then to be safe.
Applies to Grower/Processor/Dispensary/Transporter/Lab
Connected rules
- License holder responsibilities — OMMA treats a valid OBN registration as a condition of operating.
- Metrc reporting and daily reconciliation — Metrc access can be cut off without it.
